Clifton Park democratic party

In over 175 years history of the town, Clifton Park Democrats have had a majority on the Town Board for just six years (1986-1992).  During that brief period, we accomplished the following and much more:

• Clifton Common CAPTAIN/Senior Center Building
• Ice Arena
• Started 4th of July parades and free summer concerts
• Public Safety building -  helped keep State Police in town
• Created a Comprehensive Master Plan to control growth

All of this was done with the smallest staff in Town Hall, the smallest budgets per capita of residents and a $2 million surplus.

What has Happened?
The policies of the all-Republican Town Board have caused the following problems:

• Uncontrolled growth
• Unfair water rates
• Insufficient policy on police protection
• Unwillingness to listen to the concerns of residents
